Glow & Grow LLC is the brainchild of two DC-Maryland transplants who fell in love with the Arizona landscape and wanted to share that love with the world.

Shira, the principal designer, and CEO, never thought she would end up in horticulture or design. But life has funny ways of revealing your path. As a lover of plants, she began taking classes in desert horticulture shortly after moving to Phoenix to understand the climate better. Enamored with the complexity and diversity of the Sonoran desert, she obtained a certification in desert horticulture from ASU and a Master Gardener certification from the University of Arizona.

Currently, she is enrolled in ASU’s Master of Landscape Architecture program while managing Glow & Grow’s daily operations.

Ethan, the landscape specialist, recognized his love of nature early. He has a degree in Environmental Science from the University of Maryland and is a Certified ISA Arborist. He also attends Mesa Community College’s renowned landscape and horticulture certification program.

Together, they create serene, restorative designs and installations for clients across The Valley, promoting well-being and health.
