Glow & Grow LLC is the brainchild of two DC-Maryland transplants who fell in love with each other and the Arizona landscape and wanted to share that love with the world.

Shira, the principal designer, and CEO, never thought she would end up in horticulture or design. But life has funny ways of revealing your path. Unhappy with everything else she tried, never fitting into corporate culture, she decided it was time for a change. So she leaned into her passion, her love of design and plants, and decided to start a business.

She now attends graduate school at ASU for Desert Horticulture and Design while managing Glow & Grow’s daily operations.

Ethan, the landscape specialist, recognized his love of nature early. He has a degree in Environmental Science from the University of Maryland and is a Certified ISA Arborist. He also attends Mesa Community College’s renowned landscape and horticulture certification program.

Together, they create serene, restorative designs and installations for clients across The Valley, promoting well-being and health.
